  • There is a CD out with both of Gene Autry's Christmas records on it. I had one on LP as a kid but had never heard the other one, which included "Poppy." I got it on Amazon.

  • Thank you You Tube and Google, with your help I finally found this song that I listen to as a little girl about 1959. Have been looking for this song for a long time and no one ever heard of it; I knew part of the lyrics but thought it was puppy the puppy. Found it was Poppy the Puppy. Again thank you for someones hard work for bringing back memories.

  • I've named my puppy Poppy. god bless youtube

  • Thanks sooooo mucj my mom and I use to play this and sing it every Christmas, and I was trying to sing and tell my kids and grandkids....and now I can play it for them from her.....THANK YOU....

  • It's amazing how many gems were recorded and pressed on 78's. Most people who enjiyed them have now passed on so they've become lost.. Thanks to you and others who play them on You Tube, these songs can once again be enjoyed.

  • Awesome!

Thanks for the captions - lets us "hard of hearing" folks a chance to enjoy the music.

  • AWESOME, awesome, awesome! I love your channel! I love all things Christmas! I have a TON of new stuff I'll be posting nearer to the Yule season!!!
