I find it kind of a poetic end. Both the Imperium and the Eldar have potential to be powerful allies, but neither one understands the other. In this end, however, they both have something to teach each other: Humanity's intense valor and determination that gained them their place as the greatest empire among the stars; and the Eldar, whose dignity and grace are preserved even as they near extinction.

The Eldar see us as we see animals.
