I just met him tonight. He and his family came into my tire shop with a bad valve core in one of their tires. I made a comment about his Man U shirt and about I can't help him because I'm a LFC fan. haha. We got to talking about soccer and it turned out to be Peter Ward! He thanked me for my helping him and he gave me a copy of his biography and signed it!

Peter Ward - Brightons Most Exciting Player without a doubt. He was a class above the rest and scored some outstanding goals. I just wish that Sky Sports had been around in the 70's, as we would have been able to see so many more goals.

That brings back memories.... I used to go to the Goldstone ground when I lived in Brighton, back in the early seventies.
I used to chant "Seagulls - Seagulls - Seagulls".
Now I live in Blackpool and support Blackpool Football Club at Bloomfield Road Ground, and shout "SEA - SEA - SEASIDERS, SEA - SEA - SEASIDERS".
