Sarah was finally released, on bail, on 14th September 2010. Shane and Josh remained in Evin prison for another year and were finally released on 21st September 2011.

This radical film reveals the real US Hikers.

The disappearance of the 3 US graduates, who have become known as the '3 Hikers', received worldwide media attention, with some news reports echoing Iranian claims that Sarah, Shane & Josh were spies.

This film shows the truth, using footage from Shane's work as a film-maker & journalist in Darfur, Sarah's work with refugees in Syria, and Josh's environmental work in the USA.

The support of noted social activists, such as Noam Chomsky & Angela Davis, highlights how these three innocent civilians were being used as pawns in a political game between powerful nations.
