In 1999 Dorian communicated with Mel via Madame Delphina and he convinced her to go on with her life and not blame Viki for his death. Dorian left that night for Crossroads, which is where Jessica and Cristian were having an engagement party. Cristian and Will Rappaport got into a fight and an upset Jessica left the party. She had contractions and stepped into the road. Dorian was unable to stop her vehicle from hitting her. Dorian panicked when Cristian, Kevin, Ben and others soon showed up and discovered Jessica. A mob mentality ensued and she left the scene out of fear. Jessica lost her baby. Lindsay was accused and stood trial. Dorian hired Nora as her attorney when they were both stuck in an elevator. Later, Dorian confessed on the witness stand.

My Goodness.. This was the episode of OLTL I watched. It was the summer of 99 and school was out. I was going to the 6th grade and my mom would ship my sister and I to my grandmothers until school started. I didnt really understand the show then or Dorian but damn, she really has some bad luck, huh??

Is Mad. D. on contract??? Yippee! I love her! I know she's been seen a lot lately, but I didn't know they'd signed her up. She's also going to be involved in the Bo/Rex 1968 storyline. I will definitely be watching more then!

Stephen Markle was fired. Had he remained on the show, I think there would have been a bond between Dorian and Mel no matter what came of the relationship. It is true even now that Mel is presumed dead.
