another alternative is to move to another country; preferably Australia and New Zealand (If you're wanting a western english-speaking country thats sorta like the USA).

Credit cards are not secured by your house or car. They can not take them.
THE MOB charged outrageous fees and that was called Usury....a crime.
I stopped paying 2 years. My phone number is my computer line...always on.
Do not talk to them. Do not write them.
That will say that you do owe it. They will call to harras you endlessly....then a collection agency. This is called SURVIVAL. Charge up any you have left and buy food. So what about your FICO credit rating!
Fuck. I will never ever get a credit card. You borrow money but they want 1.5x the of the amount in return? Has someone that you know has ever done that to you?

Since I did this video WAY back in April the bank bail out went down and the banks are now DEEP into profit. And DUDE, you are NOT going to believe this; this past weekend they came out with a 79 percent interest card! Seven. Nine.
So in this day in age 1.5x is "mild." I'm even more hardcore about prepaid-check out that link up there

Sorry I missed your question for so long Dwyane. I'm not sure about the question though, are you talking about credit companies trying to rip you off or loan sharks? I mean it's the same thing but one is "legal."
But prepaid is safe, you know the exact fees and its YOUR money. Plus SO many thing you need to buy over the internet or phone-like almost all travel, you need something.

Hey thanks for commenting. That's a pretty tough stance.
Let me do a little follow up; in the video I say not paying can lead to them suing you and a "judgment" being awarded in their favor. But PRIOR to that is a great deal time to contact them and say "let's make a deal". Not the first few months though-they're still too arrogant that early but they'll be ready to talk later. I closed out 2 MAJOR 10,000 accounts at 15 percent the original bill. 150 bucks for 10K. No judgment, no bankruptcy.
