Nico was the support act at Tangerine Dream's infamous concert at Rheims Cathedral on December 13, 1974. The promoter had so greatly oversold the capacity of the venue that people could not move or reach the outside, eventually resulting in some fans urinating inside the cathedral hall. The Roman Catholic Church were not too pleased and ordered the re-dedication of the cathedral, banning future gigs on church property.
Another of my 1980s Camden Town Market acquisitions and I love the atmospherics here and Nico's voice.I can live through the sound quality and hope you can too.Now a pristine recording of that concert would be something else.

A good point and observation. Adds a completely new dimension to an already hauntingly beautiful song. Thank you for your feedback. :-)

Sounds fantastic, you get parts of the reverb coming through of the Cathedral,

Yes magical.Although not studio quality, the cathedral echo gives a new dimension to her voice.I play this quite alot still.
