@Firefred1 No, not at all. I took it as such. I'm fine with your comment. You rock. I just wanted to explain further. Please come back for more, there's plenty to go around.

@PaulBradford13 My comment wasn't intended as a criticism (I hope you realize that). I know what you mean about being from the same generation. The visuals & the text of this one just reminded me of Lennon - but then, again, your songs are always very original, different, and you employ a variety of musical styles. This is the biggest plus, and that's why I keep returning. Your songs are a delight to listen to - and they are never boring. I really enjoy coming back for more :)

@Firefred1 Also, all the pics are very personal to me from my childhood. Even though Lennon used them also, I guess we were from the same generation or there about which is another reason why you see the same icons. But I won't deny John's influence on me. He was the big brother I never had. Also Lennon articulated it and I just showed them. If you just heard my song without the video, you would not have that same effect. They are meant to go hand in hand. That WAS planned.
Thanks so much.

@Firefred1 Thanks. It actually wasn't intentional, but John was such a huge influence on me it is almost impossible to not see him in my work. I like that.

Could not agree more. Is this theme intentional? Reminded me of Lennon, in a good way.
Loved the 50s pics. - Aside: I don't believe in Elvis, I don't believe in Kennedy - a lot of this was featured!

@teteroom Thank you Tete.
Hey Paul. Are you saying you don't believe Lucky Strikes are good for you?? But 9 out of 10 doctors recommend Luckys. Yes, a lot of things were over-the-top preposterous back then. It's amazing any of us ended up sane. A real good song I can relate to. I live in Alabama and i don't even believe in football. How cynical is that? Take care my friend. I always enjoy your creative work. Karl

@karlmahlmann Thanks Karl. Yes, we were sold a bill of goods. But, live and learn. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

hi Paul. gotta' give you a 10 for idea/concept. beyond that, i LOVE that your lyrics were so finite. this is one song that could very easily have been "overwritten......over thought". this is one case where it is better to simply let us look at your visuals, remember, and supply our own internal diaglog. how refreshing. be well, chuck.

@chuxtrux Thanks Chuck. You always get it. I appreciate that. You won't believe the reactions I'm getting on Facebook from people saying it's an atheist anthem, I should be reprogramed for not believing in institutions like Disney, Peter Pan, The Tooth Fairy, it's crazy. All because of 3 words. It's probably the shortest song I ever wrote lyrically, yet got the biggest reaction. Go figure. I had to put up a disclaimer, and that still doesn't work. People will hear what they want.
