I love Rory, for sure--and not just because he's Irish--but Vegas has better mechanics, hands down.

One thing you'll notice here and with virtually ALL other top players is just how freely they release the toe over the heel, and how quickly after the ball it happens (look at about :36, for instance). No effort to keep the face square or hold off the release way into the follow-through here. A.J. Bonar, for one, has a lot of good things to say on that specific point.
