Si analizas el legado de sus años dorados y las composiciones de ambos, Page es mucho más versátil y exploró con éxito una gran variedad de modalidades y armonias que han creado escuela, Ritchie no ha pasado de ser un fenomenal ejecutor con talento para la composición, incluso más perfeccionista en el sonido que Page, pero nada más.

BurningTimes945: fully desagree. Jimmy is by far better. Differents styles and guitars: Fender vs Gibson that sounds very different. Difficult to compare... Althought Jimmy is more creative with the instrument than Ritchie, by far my friend

paquillo67: i desagree with you. You said Jimmy is more creative, but, who made the most famous riff around the world? Ritchie did. In my country, for example, it's more famous Ritchie (or Deep Purple) than Jimmy. But they are great. Jimmy was the first GREAT guitar player.

Supongo que hablas español por tu nick. Estoy de acuerdo en que Ritchie es un grande, pero si me dices que el riff Smoke on the water es más famoso por ejemplo que Stairway to heaven o Black dog o Whole lotta love, pues no sé dónde será eso.

I love that Chet Atkins diddy he played at the beginning of this song. Richie always said Chet was one of his favorite players. I guess he wasn't kidding.

Blackmore left Purple because he hated Ian Gillian and Gillian hated him. It was a tempestuous working relationship for years, at best.

i think blacmore had to stay in deep puprle.. why did he leave deep purple?? he was having a huge success.. in my opinion he has ever believed to be the best.. but he had to stay in deep purple
