In this FREE InDesign vid tip I show you how to use preflight, how to create your own profiles (what to look for in the file), and how to embed the profile so you can send the InDesign file to someone else and they can preflight using the same profile

  • Live Preflight is great for some, but many are still using FlightCheck v6.75 to preflight their layouts. One reason is, besides the eases of the set-up and preflighting process is the fact that it is stand-alone. For instance, you can check a .indd file without even having Creative Suite open or on that machine.

FlightCheck will also preflight and package Adobe Illustrator jobs, which has no preflight built in. The same for Photoshop and Acrobat files and many more. Check out FlightCheck too.
