  • @windigoneurosis "unexistant", eh? Makes your invalid opinion seem all the more ridiculous.

  • like most technology it won't surprise you that HSS technology is about 10+ years old. I first read about this back in the day I used to dream about the awesome devices that could be made and how you could finally have a 1 speaker sound system with 10 virtual speakers.

I love this tech but I'm always dismayed when they say "Oh by the way" we sold it to the Military and they are buying IT fast as we can make them! and ITs a weapon! Remember the sound Canons use on the INCREDIBLE HULK!

  • @REALnewDREW How about no you crazy Dutch bastard!

  • sell it to apple! They will improve it 100 times better!

  • They have shown this tech. of directional speaker before in the 90s in an Australian tech show called Beyond 2000!

  • he's right. focusing light is a big deal, as evidenced by computer monitors.

  • A real genius. Compares really favorably with some people who just slog it after discovering just one step beyond what had been discovered before

  • okay I get it, so next time you invite a cute girl to watch a movie at your house, she's gotta get up on you or else she can't hear =D

  • pretty neat technology other than the fact its going to be used around the world and in this country to enslave people
