  • I would love to see deer in the garden :)

Yesterday were visited by a skunk,we didnt see him, he just left his awfull stink for us LOL

Do you live on Underwood road ?

I went to school there,I was often sent to stand in corner by the window and I would day dream about running free in the woods and building a little house there to hide in LOL

    xx

  • Oh dear, glad we haven't any of those over here ! No we live over the Fair Oak side of the woods, if you left England some time ago you probably wouldn't know there has been a lot of development around what was the smallholding (Hilroyde's ?) to the south east of the woods and that's where we are. You'll have to google earth the area, you'll be able to see your old house.

  • I grew up in Bishopstoke, walked the woods with my dogs almost daily. I live in CA now and miss the quiet walks on small paths off the beaten track.

I'm happy to read the there is still wilde life. One day as I tunred a bend in the path a few feet away was a doe, with beautifull brown soft eyes. We stood frozen still and looked at each other. Then will a small leap across the path she was gone. I treasure that moment.

  • I love google earth. My house is long sigh.

  • One of the things I miss, living abroad, is walking in a beechwood and seeing all the wild flowers coming out. This was just delightful. Best part was when the music stopped and the birds took over. Magic. Thank you

  • this is awesome!
