Split screen/clone tutorial tool Corel cropping tool. The noticeable split needs some work. I understand New Blue has a filter that can help clean it up, however it costs a lot, about as much as an editor that can do it alone such as Sony Vegas Movie Studio. If you already have Corel, it is possible to load masks and decorations and music etc. into Vegas from Corel. Vegas is a little lacking in pre made titles (you have to make your own) but you can use the pre made titles in Corel and then load them into Vegas.

  • hey! what if you need to walk to the other side where your clone is and make the clone walk over to your side? I'm doing a dance and there's a transfer side during the song but how can I make it look like they're changing sides normally? do you need to add an extra effect?

  • @TheRinarh Hi. That is a very interesting idea. Off the top of my head I can not think of how to do it, but I am defiantly going to try to figure out how to do it. Thanks for the idea. I'll let you know if I find a way.

  • @cjkeegan100 Hey thanks. I think I started out like you. I knew what I wanted to do but had no clue how to do it. I just kept searching for vids asking questions as you are doing. I think you will find very few that know this technique in Corel. Keep up the good work.

  • @dcm121751 yeah man thanks a lot your a sound guy much appriciated ive been watching your vids and wish i could edit like you man

  • @cjkeegan100 The video is about 2 minutes 36 seconds long. Go to about that 1 minute 45 second spot, I explain how to copy and paste the key frame. You have to tell the split line not to move, for some reason by default it slowly moves until the end of the clip. The first key frame is the way you want the split to look, copy that and go all the way to the end and paste it. That tells the split to stay in the same place as it is the beginning.

  • @dcm121751 thanks for replying but i dont know what you mean by 1.45. after watching this vid i put my cam on a tripod stood on the left for a few seconds then stood on the right for a few seconds i then split it then imported and did what you said the overlay track seems to move please help thank you

  • @cjkeegan100 Hi, Glad it will be of some help. D
