The ambiguity is intentional. You're meant to think it means the "you hate me" until it continues and then it neutralises into "you (have) asked me"

@lukeherzog the lyric is you have me but in the English version is hate due to people misinterpreted the German version as hate so they did hate for the English version although i think hate in german is hass not hast

Yep, on "schiede", the pitch slides for a really low note. I'm on the club of those who struggled it, until I paid close attention to the slide and caught that pitch. This song isn't THAT easy at all.

It is you have. Hate has two S in it instead of 1. The English version of the song uses different lyrics so you can't go by that either.
