Potentially, could the lr-300 be chambered with a heavier round or is it only suitable for intermediate cartridges? It seems like this concept had so much potential, its just odd its so unheard of and has had very little in the way of variation. Something im missing?

I've heard that LR 300 has a recoil reduction system, but I checked out the exploded schematics of the gun and I saw nothing other than a shorted bolt. Does it really have a recoil reduction system?

i suppose since the bolt is half the weight and there is no buffer spring or buffer the overall weight of the reciprocating components have been reduced. Plus my LR300 has a muzzle break on it which helps a lot. So, if those other factors contribute to the system then, yes?
Shooting mine is pretty soft.

I'm gonna get my own LR-300 upper soon and shoot gooks and bums with it.
Be using 55 gr barnes triple X shock ammo. Is it possible to shoot 62 gr ammo out of a 1:9 twist rate?
