Great job! I love FOTC because their parodies are not direct ripoffs like Weird Al's, and it is fun to guess what the most direct influence for a particular song they wrote was.
-
Early 90's hip hop is the bestie boys and they were better than the rap artists today.
-
i love these guys i listen to their cdc in the car like all the time!
-
I think the song at 2:44 sounds and look more like "Rain" by The Beatles then "I Am The Walrus".
-
does anyone know what the song "mermaids" is parodying? it seems familiar but i don't know what it is.
-
I think "Boom" is more of a parody of "Galang" by MIA, but nice video!

Brilliantly put out, man.

I'm not entirely sure why you've just put "60s music" on The Beatles nor "Early 90s HipHop" on the Beastie Boys...probably the two most recognisable bands in the whole video.

Because while the Beastie Boys parody borrows elements from that video, it seems to be spoofing the era as a whole. Likewise with the Beatles. I figure most people who watch FOTC are music literate enough to realize who those two bands are by sight.
