its going to sound different, the xb12r has the harley davidson thunderstorm 1203CC engine, this 1125r has the new austrian made rotex twin

It will sound different than the 1125. The 1203 still has a great sound with the D&D but you won't have the ratchety crack of the Helicon engine.

Soo I'm buying a 09 xb12r. And all i have to do to make it sound like that is buy the d&d slip on?

2008 OEM headers, into D&D Slip On. I just polish the factory headers up cause if you don't they blue up.

D&D makes a very loud exhaust for the 1203. One of my buddies had one on his Firebolt and it sounded great, but it will not have the lope or crack that the Helicon has.

@Dblock1889 dont listen to him. HD motors have wayyyy more lope than rotax engines.
