The Natural Resource Enterprises program was founded at Mississippi State University by the Forest and Wildlife Research Center, Cooperative Extension Service, and the Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station. The Natural Resource Enterprises program helps landowners develop recreational businesses using sound business and wildlife habitat management strategies. The second annual Wildlife Festival was recently held at the Coastal Plains Experiment Station in Newton, Mississippi. The festival is a fun-filled two-day event for the county schoolchildren and general public with plenty of enjoyable opportunities for learning about wildlife ecology, habitat, and sustainable farming practices. If you couldn't make it this year, please watch this program to get you ready for next year!
