Here are some classic UK TV adverts from 1985, recorded off Channel 4. These are not from my private colelction, but originally uploaded to UK Nova a month ago, so many thanks on my behalf to the capper, and all credit of capping must go to him/her.

The adverts are for: Lemsip, Kellogg's Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes, Toshiba Deltawave microwave oven, Head & Shoulders, Mr. Dog dog food, Cadbury's Creme Egg, Solmin headache tablets, Kellogg's Corn Flakes, and British Rail.

  • Surely being a lemon in the first place would meant that he was immune to colds and flus?

And I bet they had to wait days to film the 'helpful' Bristish Railway staff !

  • Jesus that lemsip one is terrifying!!!

  • omg...that's Hugh Laurie!!!!!

  • @coldfilter a lot of people out there probably have tried it haha

  • None of that sort of service ever happened at ANY British Rail station I know of,wonder where that was filmed hahah

  • The sound track to that British Rail ad should have been:-

    "It's Late"

    "Last Train To London"

"I'm Still Standing" (can't get a bloody seat)

    "Tired Of Waiting For You"

    "Communication Breakdown"

  • Cooking Chicken in a Microwave Is Hard And Makes The Chicken Taste Like Rubber.

  • The "Delta Wave"....hmmm, don't remember that taking off in the playground - wonder why?

  • Microwave a chicken in the time it takes a woman to get ready for a dinner party.

So that'll be six hours, then.

  • Cooking a chicken in the microwave? I never thought I'd say this, but get the fuck out of the kitchen.
