I was a 8th grade b-boy when this classic lp dropped!I remember the following month after illmatic came out,Nas's verse got the hip hop quotable in the source...I cut that clip out,taped it to my wall,studied that shit untill I had the whole verse mastered.What a time for the artform.Shit was so raw back then man
