@Ragingbarbarion5 that's because Leon didn't defeat Dracula. Leon devoted his whole family to stopping Dracula. Because of this, Dracula went into hiding and hundreds of years later he created an army and then Castlevania 3: Dracula's curse starts.

I thought Gabriel was the first Belmont. Then he became Dracula and his decendents are hunting him (Lords of Shadow confused the hell out of me :P) Please clarify for me
