The Lord's Prayer (a capella)

I first performed A.H. Malotte's "The Lord's Prayer" (©1935) for a vocal recital several years ago, and sang it again a few years later at the funeral of a family friend.

I apologize for any vocal cracking and slight inaccuracies in my singing; I've not had a voice lesson since 2003 when I graduated from high school, and I didn't have my tape of the piano part when I recorded this.

I hope you enjoy the video, and I welcome all constructive feedback.

While raised Christian, I'm an agnostic. I happen to think this song is a beautiful piece of art, which I performed at the funerals of several family friends--including my grandfather, a Lutheran pastor, who was one of the kindest and most honest people I have ever known.
