The ancient world, in general, believed that the world was naturally hierarchical. The parent/child, husband/wife, master/slave, dominant/submissive dynamic applied to pretty much everything in life. Do we know that the words "master" and "slave" actually meant what we think they mean today? Maybe the author is talking about the employer/employee relationship.

Is there any book of the bible that, in your opinion, project a "low christology"?
