im thinking of buying an 01 s2k. what is the difference between the ap1 and ap2? how much money would it take to get it in the 12s? in the 10s? sub 10s? it only has 86k miles on it. what would be a fair price. hes askin 12. 13500 with the racing wheels. any input is much appreciated.

@g0ferboy bro with 25K on my s2k ill pull on one of nasa's space shuttles. my brothers s2k (he is in the marines so i take care of it) has about 11k into it and its doing 550 to the wheels so thats already taking off the 10% powerloss the process of moving the car goes through. its got a fully built motor with custom head gaskets and a turbo that bends the hood down when its starts sucking. plus when we were racing all motor it still has dealer warranty which is why i said new cuz of warranty

@TheYourmommasucks well firstly the Corvette costs 75k...new, but why do that when a 2-3 year old version costs more around 45k, leaving me 35k to mod it, right? I'll give you, your s2k the same age would still be around 25k, leaving you 55k, correct? So I'd say the Corvette would smash on it. If we drop to a 50k price range, I could still find a setup for 5k that'll push 500rwhp. And I doubt very much that 25k on that s2k would go up that far.

lets say we both have 80,000 dollars cash you buy a corvette and i buy a s2000 your corvette cost you 75,000 and you use the other 5 grand to mod it. my s2000 cost 30,000 and I use the other 50,000 to mod. we both spent the same amount of money. who wins? :)
