they do feel pain, not like the pain we go through of course, our nervous system is much more complex, but they do suffer. SO....knife to the head right before boiling, keeps freshness for those assholes that argue that dead lobsters are not as "fresh" as live ones,
-
@tutorialmasterist ye white guys do it with pride, asians jus chuck it in, black people do a little dance after it, and the mexicans....dont get me started with the mexicans, every race is shit except mine

@alienelements Also im pretty sure the chef doesnt really care wether it died instantly or not. Its his job to do this and if he didnt do it someone else would. Circle of life bitches
-
@nmbodnar you would be surprised that maybe they wouldn't lol.
-
nice!
-
@nmbodnar Actually, it's a myth that lobsters and cockroaches are "extremely closely" related. They are in different phyla. Lobsters are crustaceans, cockroaches are insects.
-
the lobsers like "how bout you untape these claws and fight like a man"
-
why doesnt he put the safety thing from his claws and he dont put him upside down in the cooking water ive been told the taste is better and the meat is softer because hes dead 2 seconds earlier and doesnt get a adrenaline shock or something
btw maybe its not true i dont eat lobster every day:)
-
For those of you uneducated idiots who think this is "cruel", please note that lobsters CANNOT feel pain, due to the fact that they, like most crustaceans, lack a traditional nervous system.

"do they die instantly?"
"not really...."
lol poor lobsters. its their fault for being so delicious
