mauroprovatos requested a version of the Defenders midi without the melody line, so here it is. It's a little sparse, as I wasn't really setting out to write a vocal accompaniment when I did it, and I'm not a "real" pianist anyway (just a moonlighting guitarist)... but it is perfectly fine to sing or play to as long as you can catch on to the timing (listening to the original midi will help).

I've posted the lyrics onscreen by verse, a la karaoke (oops, is it legal to mix French and Japanese like that?) in case someone who doesn't play an instrument, or plays a melodic instrument, would like to use it as accompaniment to post their own vocals/melody line to the song. If you do, please post it as a response to Roy's original song - the more responses, the better! Yeah!

Sorry there's no rhythm track to time those dramatic "empty" spots, but the tempo is as regular as only a computer can make it, so just tap your foot or something and you'll be fine. :) FYI, you get four measures to do the spoken "Dick Armey" line, and a walking bass cue back in. Have fun!
