He is using a delay effect when he plays this solo so don't doubt.

@guterine well the sound would continue to ring out until he clamps down on the next string, so its completely normal

Second 0:10 it's really weird! He removes his finger from the note and the sound continues... could he be dubbing in this song? or is it a matter of sync?

@1800PUCK I agree.... maybe it is just the way his solos sound that make us feel like "OMG he's a guitar god!!" :p His solos are not that hard, but the way his solos were made were soooo COOL!!! thumbs up? :)

@Tomhancox21 custom jazzmaster not jaguar and it has a p-90 on the neck and a alnico II pro on the bridge actually. Just sayin'

@nvmelden I know... too bad he and Zac had to call it quits (I'll probably be checking out their new bands one of these days)... they were pretty much the backbone of Paramore's sound. Still, it'll be interesting to see how they approach their new record.

People, chill the hell out- Josh doesn't claim to be the best out there (probably because he knows he isn't). Don't get me wrong here, I love Paramore (and this song) just as much as the rest of you, but I don't go treating Josh as though he's the Jesus Christ of guitar. I can actually play a few Paramore songs on guitar- this one included- and none of them are very difficult, so I know what I'm talking about here.
But hey, at least he could wreck Kevin Jonas in a guitar battle, amirite?
