2011: A Year In Review

A video to reflect on 2011 and our accomplishments here at the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.

It's been a great year for international exchanges, women's empowerment, study abroad, exchange 2.0, web development, entrepreneurship and more. Highlights in these areas reached far and wide across the continents.

To quote Assistant Secretary Ann Stock, "All in all, 2011 was a successful year for ECA and public diplomacy. Together, our programs helped the State Department to shape the foreign policy narrative and to foster mutual understanding among Americans and the international community."
