@bandai99...like horad23 said all the liter bikes have their up's and down's. Best thing to do is put your hands on each one and see which one feels and looks better to you. Too much money for any bike to have regrets.

@bandai99 When it comes to these types of bikes, it's all in what you find aesthetically pleasing. Yes, one will have options the other doesn't, but it pretty much comes down to which styling you like the most. Yamaha's cross plane firing system is the latest and greatest, but as you mentioned the ZX-10R is 2K cheaper. Another reason why you should buy the one that is most eye appealing is because when are you or anyone else really going to ride these bikes as they were intended? Good luck!

could i get some opinions... DEF buying a new bike this spring.. im stuck between this 2010 zx10 or the 2010 r1... i know its my own choice but i would like some feedback.. this bike has 200 hp, 2 grand cheaper than the new r1, and has a bunch of new features..the r1 looks a bit better and obviously has the yamaha quality... what to do??

Im sure it might be just me but I see no difference looks wise between 2010 and 2008-2009 zx-10.
