Could you do a video on full grooming of a maltipoo? My 9 month old's hair is not that curly, but her "bangs" keep growing so long she can't see. Do I cut them low right over her nose and leave the other combed down long? help! This dog needs some grooming!

I wish my maltipoo was that calm! I always bring her to the groomers because she's too hyper for me to handle grooming her myself...

I would do a part going across your Maltipoo's forehead - above her eyes from ear to ear. Maybe about half an inch wide. Leave the back part long for a nice top knot, then cut the rest so it is short, and you can see her eyes. I do not have any adult Maltipoos - we raise first generation Maltipoos here. But, that is what I do with our Maltese. Just cut the part right over their eyes, so we can still see their sweet faces - and leave the hair on top longer, to make a pretty top knot.

Hi Palomino - Gracie is like a dark brindle color. She may have lightened up since then. Her daddy was a phantom poodle, mama the white maltese.

Maltipoos are very intuitive. They make great therapy dogs= and when in that mode- they often pick up on the person needing the most, or hurting the most, and can just go sit in their lap - giving them attention and a wonderful dose of unconditional love.

Hi JollyJane - it may sound like a puppy is crying - that puppy is begging for 'mommy' (me) to pick him up. I can only do one at a time - so just like in real life, children have to learn to wait for their turn, puppies have lessons to learn too.
I am sorry that it bothers you - don't worry - puppy is not still waiting - that was a 2 minute wait. :O) you have a tender heart for sure. :o)

Very informative but the background music is too loud

Hi Ivy, you are totally right.
It was just meant to be a quick, temporary video - I should redo one, more professionally - and turn the volume down on music playing.
