What I hate about Rock Band is the fact that you cannot have 2 guitars in Band Play. I can't even count the times I got into an argument just so I can have the guitar because bass sucks.

Do some research first, because Harmonix also released GH: Rock the 80's before GH3. Get it right tubby.

Rock Band was the very first music band game. It was a smash hit because it built on the idea of GH, but it expanded it to the full band concept. It wasn't punished for it's instruments or mistakes because although it wasn't a new genre, it was a new intellectual property. The GH drums are very quiet but they're also lackluster. I never owned a set, but my friend's deteriorated very quickly and became unreliable (dropped notes, etc.). The RB drums are louder, but they are more reliable.

Rock band has a full band and its easier to play (Well to me and my friend who owns it) but theres also guitar hero world tour which has full band. I prefer guitar hero 3 because its my fave from the series. But i heard rock band 3 is coming out soon and their gonna have a keyboard in the band. Still i prefer guitar hero even tho i might get rock band soon for my birthday, I'll have both :P

....? It sounds great on paper, but the truth is, the "songs" you make on GHMix only ends up sounding like a crappy ringtone. I'd take good DLC over ringtones anyday.
