The U.S. gov gives more rights to freedom, opportunity than any nation on the planet, To compare any nations civil rights or freedoms to the United States is obsurd. Natives have the right to do as they please. Natives preyed on weaker tribes killing, enslaving, torturing other natives for centuries so the rule of law and civility today is not causing anyone to suffer. Natives benefit from anglo advances in every aspect of life and the U.S. military protecting and allowing them to live in peace.

@beone011 Imperialism taints everything it touches and the legacy lasts--the Americas, Ireland, India, you name it, people today are suffering because of what happened then. As long as that is the case, I don't see how it's a dead horse. "Rights" (which don't actually exist, they're purely theoretical) have little bearing on the shitty card you're dealt in life.

I can't comment on the assault as I know nothing about it. Regardless, the man makes some valid points.

Means is an attention seeker, been in trouble with the law his whole life, his family members disowned him-don't even talk to him and he speaks of family. He has good ideas but their foundation is in fantasy land. He despises whites, yet preaches he wants to end 'all racism'.
