@MetroArtyom2033 Lye is a super corrosive substance that absorbs moisture and degrades organ tissue. but people use it to prepare some foods and its in soap. But lye to the face is def not a good way to go

So now that she doesn't have any parents or means of supporting herself, how is this little girl going to achieve her dream of becoming a professional architect? Anyway, architecture is honest work so it's not like she'd need good looks to get a job as a secretary or some shit, so I'm not sure why her parents were so torn up about it. I've seen people deal with worse disfigurements! SHOULD HAVE TOUGHED IT OUT, PARENTS. NOW YOU'VE RUINED YOUR DAUGHTER'S DREAM. So much for a happy ending!
