  • Great video. That's a cool looking blue jay.My favorite birds are cardinals.Right now for some reason I have loads of mourning doves hanging out by the feeders.Anything to keep the girls entertained

  • @KIDNAPPEDKITTIES2 I determined these are Western Scrub-Jays. A not so pretty name for beautiful birds. If I lived where there were Cardinels, they probably be my fav too. I like robins and doves, even pidgeons. Woodpeckers, and Peregrin Falcons.

  • I Am Sure Your Fuzzy Family Would Not Appreciate You Giving Attention To Feathered Friends, Without Being Invited To The Party!

  • @onekinkstar LOL Thanks for watching!

My fuzzy family has to content themselves with looking through glass or lath...... Else the Blue Scub Jay wouldn't be alive. Well, mine wouldn't be great hunters at this point, maybe Gilda Maria or China Cat, but they are not skilled. Merlin!.....He might be good at birds. Freddie sure was. Those Blue birds only thrived after he died. We sure miss him though.

  • @venniey Never heard of a scrub jay but what a beautiful bird.I'll have to find my bird book to read up on them.

  • Oh that was great, Just what I needed as I am getting ready for bed. I have to get up early tomorrow and head back into the salt mines.

  • A humming bird!

  • @venniey Yes, my clutter only watches birds and squirrels from the screened porch anymore. I used to take them out every now and then, to chew on crappy grass and roll in the sandy dirt, or maybe catch a bug, then 'herd' them inside by squirting their fuzzybuttZ with a water bottle. Haven't done that in a long time though, not since 'someone' got a flea and everyone had to get topical flea treatment. It's not only costly, it's toxic, so only treat the in/out dog.

  • @jennifergwaine Oh great, there has been a humming bird feeder out back that has supported families of humming birds so it will be easy to capture them.

I made a video a while back of a humming bird nest but unfortunately a late winter blew it down. Take a look at it though.
