@mustangman442002 Not when you have to fix them...
-
@mustangman442002 yeah, and especially for education and students.
think... a cart of 23 macbooks that wear down fast and cost $999 each
$999x32 ~ $32,000
while an emac has fewer moving parts and is great for a class env. - $699 each
$699x32 ~ $22,400
A savings of $19,000 because the eMacs will last twice as long!!!!!

@carfanatic41 yer you right....emac for education mac
-
eMacs are supposed to be for education.
e= education

Their good but your better off with an old G5 or a new Mac Mini.
-
There reasonable but id get at least th 1.25 but the best was the last because they came with wireless and bluetooth.
-
yh there great, still very fast for the price and excellent for general computing ie listening to music, word processing, web browsing etc and maybe a bit of ilife/photoshop
-
You could use an eMac with Tiger, and it works great.
-
thanks for that

They work with leopard and can still do some things but if you want a realy fast mac than you have to buy a intel mac.
eMacs are solid computers: i think Apple made a mistake by stopping their sales. Besides, that design is classic, and I still think it looks great!
