The people I worked with in HCMC were some of the nicest, and best educated people I have ever met. No, they're probably not representative of the average Vietnamese person, but I suspect in 20 years time Vietnam will be vastly different country. It really is changing unbelievably quickly.

This is a great video, it really shows the very essence of the culture in Saigon. The traffic, the people, the fast but slow pace. It really brings me back to the place I once saw in person, and I wish I can go back for ever.

I am so surprised when most of Chinese look at other Asian people and think that these come from China as well and some dont know where Vietnam is... hahaha... so selfish and uneducated.. can i say so? or have to say it is just a narrow view :))

The people are undeducated and HCMC is poor and disgusting because of the communist. If you want to blame, blame the people in charge not the every day people.
