a good record ruined by that fool behind the enormous drum kit

@17drums Exactly my point.

@Drumminman4U Thanks! That's a great idea about doing a Rich/Roach duet. Not sure I'm up to the task, though!

WOW! This is some of the most creative playing on youtube. Very few drummers attempt playing this style of music on that sort of kit (or I should say very few are successful at it). I think you would do a great job with the Buddy Rich Max Roach collaboration as well (also different sounding snares and different licks, etc.) Bravo sir!

Aahha! You don't just play the complex classic rock. Nice work on the "Classic Classics" keep drumming - Excellent work! Blowing my speakers out here with your stuff.. speakers just don’t sound the same after viewing your clips.. Screw it! I'll buy new ones. As usual, thanks for posting

@ThePromovideo Thanks! Yeah, I was just messing around, TRYING to pick out this Krupa/Rich "battle". Obviously, an impossible task. But it was fun. (At first, anyway--until I started getting blisters--picked this out and played it in one seven-hour session! My hands were sore for days afterwards!)

Nice! A left handed player! Not too much of those around. Or should I say: not enough?

@Lexcoaster Thanks! As for whether or not there are not enough lefty players around, I say, not enough. I'm actually right-handed. But playing lefty has built up my weaker left side automatically, which is good. And keyboards and fretboards descend to the left, so why not drums as well? More people should try it. (Not that I did it intentionally. I was just stupid when I first started, and set my drums up "backwards" unknowingly!)

@17drums Well, this probably enabled you to play open handedly, look at Carter Beauford and Simon Phillips. :)

@Lexcoaster Agreed. Open-handed unties you from always being crossed-over, and also tends to free the mind from that same limitation, which contributes positively towards independence, imo.
