This is a demonstration of PDT Agro's "Thunder Generator" in Salt lake city, Utah U.S.A, in June 2010. The Thunder Generator is not your average scare-cannon. It uses patented Pulse Detonation Tecnology to send shockwaves through the air. The shockwave - an abrupt fluctioation in air pressure - affects birds pressure sensor (the paratympanic organ, responsible of navigation, flight height and more) which causes them to take off and fly away from the area. Although It's intended use is for agricultural fields, airports and fishponds, the demonstration in a dump is most conclusive.
What about the drivers on top of the hill?
