You don't see VY Canis Majoris mentioned very often. Its cool that it has finally had recognition because in place of our sun, Canis Majoris would engulf the orbit of jupiter.

Its possible that there could be stars 100,000 times the size of Canis Majoris, but i dont think they have been seen yet.
