There are several videos circulating showing a comparison of the largest stars. I like these kind of things, and I wanted to try one myself. Probably because I also watched "Cosmos" by Carl Sagan as a kid. Actually my first Youtube upload. Hope you like it...

@Axeonfluke Just to clarify: I made the whole video and animation, but I took audio tracks I like with it. (As mentioned at the end) Never thought people would like it that much. Of course I checked available on mobile. But it won´t work. Sorry folks.
At least it is available online again. It has been blocked in some countries for some time.

I don't know who ever cam up with the "1100 years" but it's wrong. A plane flying 900 km/h will fly 900 x 24 (hours) x 365 (days) = 7.884.000 km each year. Dividing the largest star's diameter with the plane's reach per year: 2.800.000.000 / 78.840.000 = 35.5. The journey will therefore "only" take 35.5 years

@kamtpr You added a zero at the last divisor. So the result should be 355 (rounded).
And I said it so many times before: Please fly around the star, not TROUGH it. (Contents may be hot) You took the diameter, not circumference. Just multiply your result with Pi. So 1100 is roughly correct.

@kamtpr Don´t. :) You went ino the effort of checking. Curiosity is good. It just takes some time to doublecheck everything and think about it. I also do that before I post a comment. That halps to minimife the errohrs.
