  • I am having trouble using the buttonholer on my dc2010. I put a button in the foot, set the machine to stitch 6 and started sewing. The machine did the end and started down the first side, then stopped and gave me the message 6L. What's wrong?

  • @kevinc550 I do not know of this being a common issue with this machine. Your best bet would be to go to janome.com and click the "Find a Dealer" link where you can find your local dealer and they can look at your machine. Good luck!

  • Can you review the Janome Power Stitch 1030? I am having trouble with mine on the decorative stitches. It jumbles up on the top or the bottom. The width is very tricky for me to figure out which one to use for which stitch style. I can't find a review or a demo on it anywhere. The bobbin is also giving me trouble winding it. It comes out all jumbled up on the bobbin and very loose and bubbly. Help?

  • @Hadarslover Janome USA does not currently carry this model. Did you perhaps purchase it though another company or country? I'm sorry we couldn't be more helpful!

  • What is the tightest stich on this machine?

How do I tighten the standard stich?

    Thank U!

  • cilcy,

Both the stitch length and width will go down to zero, but the smallest width that is possible is .5 and the smallest length that is possible is 1.0.

You can alter the stitch length and width by selecting them with the selection button (this toggles between stitch number, stitch width, and stitch length) and then adjusting them with the up and down buttons.

  • Thx Mrs "JanomeUSA" for this very useful video. There is a point you can still improve though: your hand too often hides the very thing you want to show us.

  • MusicWayne1,

"Home dec" is short for home decoration, like curtains, pillows, and bedspreads. It's also called home decor.

  • Thanks for the video. "Each and every time" and "Simply..." are overused in the script. What are "home dequa" items?
