English documentary aired on December 31, 1982 about Kim Wilde's first live tour ever. This segment shows Kim rehearsing with her band, jogging, talking with her parents about the show, shopping for clothes...
She sings bits of "Chequered Love", "Kids in America", "Take me tonight" and "You'll Never Be So Wrong" on the piano at home.

  • Me too! If Kimmy says the tempo is slow, then, gosh darn it, the tempo IS slow! Ricky needs to get his act together! :)

  • I think I was drunk when I wrote all that 3 months ago. Oh well!

  • love :)

  • The GENIUS Kim Wile years * SELECT forever!!!!

  • Hehe, I think Ricky was right regarding the tempo on Kids.

  • It's a shame!

Even after 30 years in music business, there's no documentary on dvd available :-(

  • Kim Wilde's music is feel good music. You could be in a slump but when you hear the first few notes it changes your mood. Kim's music is like that with me. I was happy when I woke up today anyway but this heightens my mood.

  • Your comment deserves 200+ thumbs ups!

  • Great video.

Has this clip been available on youtube for the whole of these past few months, because if it has, i'm surprised im just seeing it now. I was always hoping there was something like this on youtube, but never found it until now.

Once again, great clip! Thanks for uploading

  • That was great! Thanks for posting this. I finally get to see something of the life led by the girl I fell in love with so long ago. I'm impressed by the closeness of the four of them. A loving supportive family. An interesting documentary so far. I'll have to check out parts 2 and 3 tomorrow. Kim looks angelic at the end when she's at the piano. Beautiful beautiful girl!
