  • If Jaco had his way, he would not wish his killer to burn in hell... It wasn't in him. Hate is not something he believed in, ever. Please don't waste your time hating and instead find a way to honor him productively.

  • @sebajo82 Benicio for Jaco now!

  • Spielberg or Eastwood should make Jaco´s movie... (posible actors: benicio del toro or brad pitt...with wig of course)

  • Jaco Pastorius,Syd Barrett and The Pink Floyd from 60's,Deep Purple - mark II,Miles Davis,The Prodigy,Chemical Brothers,Akira Ifukube(guy, who wrote music for Godzilla movies),John Wiliams(Star Wars music)....they all fixed in my brain and turn to my style of using guitar.all these artists turn in my melodys and notes.this is unbelivable how to listening music of those different musicians inspire me...thanks to them i have thousands of melodys, sounds and notes in my head and play on my bass.

  • Andy Frazier ?

  • @Carehuea from some band called poison.

  • @Hakulanni Even if he didint wish him to burn in hell I think Jaco who seems like a conservative and smart person would not want this guy running around posing a threat to others so save up the pussy talk. Murderers deserve death, they serve no purpus in life.

    Bobby who?

  • Jaco Pastorius opened up the electric bass, particularly fretless bass, to its true heart and soul just as Luigi Boccherini did for the cello. Unfortunately he suffered from Manic Depressive disease just as Mozart, Mussorgsky and Tchaikovsky. And regardless of what Pat Metheny said there are several bass players who may be in their own right as good as Jaco was. For Hendrix it is McLaughlin, Holdsworth, Vai, Johnson and Keaggy- and others.

  • @atbglenn bobby dahl was voted best bassist 5 years in a row.
