California Meet-Up with Tobie2!

California Meet-Up,
Part I: Tobie2, CallMeHol, & Moi

Hol and I traveled from the desert Southwest to the Southern Coast of California to meet Tobie2 (here and at LiveVideo) and JustAnotherUserName from LiveVideo.

We were only there a couple of nights, but we had a blast. We met her good friends, played some pool and rocked out with Rock Band. I sucked at the drums.

The next day was Easter and Susan had a basket full of goodies waiting for us (felt like we were spoiled kids!!! woooohooo!) and Pam's folks came over for dinner, which was divine. The conversation was lively and that evening, Hol and I sat on a dark beach listening to the waves and staring up at the stars.

The next day we headed up the coast (vid to come) and met Ruth!

We came back and spent another night before having to catch a red eye, and we treated the family to a dinner at a steakhouse. Afterwards, we stayed up late and watched The L Word.

Thanks Susan!!! Your family rocks!!! ...literally.

Those clouds were mesmerizing. Whenever I fly, I always hope THAT is what I'll see and I was so glad I had my camera that time.

Was that desert platter (1:41) from Claim Jumper? because that looked like the Chocolate Motherlode Cake!

When I was young, my mom would to take my sister and me there when we got good grades. :)
