Japanese Jet Fighter Crash

The Mitsubishi F-2B was being taken up on a test flight prior to being delivered to the Japanese air force when it crashed.

Video footage showed the jet take off from the runway in Nagoya, only to suddenly tip downward and skid along the ground in flames.

The two crewmen were seen jumping from the burning fuselage.

The flames were extinguished about 10 minutes after the crash, according to a Mitsubishi spokesman.
