Sorry for the late answer. I think you misunderstood. Illness mental or otherwise sucks. I am not blaming or in other ways saying that sick people deserve their situation.

Life sucks. It was supposed to be something better but it isn't and it is not just the believers that get ill everyone risk that.

What is amazing isn't that people with an illness have a greater faith but that they have faith at all.

@therarchos Read the New Testiment if you have a problem with the sick. Christ will reward those who have suffered one earth the first will be last and the last will be first.

Satan afflicts those who he finds a threat against the kingdom of hell. Hell's vices can sometimes try to grip someone's life but through Christ's mercies we are set free.

@therarchos I am guessing that you are perfect and healthy and never have suffered? The bible says for the sick to rejoice through their sufferings because we have shared in the Lord's sufferings. Christ healed the sick and if you are healthy then don't boast of it. your just someone Satan hasn't inflicted pain on. consider yourself lucky. I am a person who has tasted suffering losing friends being sick mentally you know what its the fake people of the church today that make me sick

Faith is something growing despite of suffering. Not because of it. And Confirmation of faith is ultimately not found in suffering but despite of suffering. DON't worship sufffering. Worship GOD. Faith despite of suffering is awsome suffering and and PR is making me puke.
