Jimmy Lin and father in 2006 part 2 of 6

Jimmy and his father appeared on a talk show in 2006. His father talked about his privileged childhood. He had his own nanny who brushed his teeth until he was 7. He was a very naughty child. He opened a chain of studio with 6 outlets when he was 18. He owns an IT company now that develops software for environmental control. His house is a futuristic high-tech home with more than 100 appliances that can be controlled by a PDA. His father said it cost TWD7M to install such a system in a house. His father said he brought home only one girlfriend and her lastname is also Lin. His father is against his racing. When he started to race he was too eager to prove himself. He had a terrible accident during a race and broke 3 bones in his foot. No one dared call his father after the accident. His father had to find out from a reporter. Now he understands that his enemy is himself and not other racers. He tries to beat his own record rather than beating others. He doesn't tell his father when he's going to race so his father doesn't have to worry about his safety. Jimmy said he doesn't have a girlfriend now and rather spend time in racing than with a girl. His father is eager to find him a suitable wife and he said he'll get married by 35. Jimmy thanked his father for giving him a good home and giving him support and encouragement in pursuing his career.

his parents divorced when he was a kid. his dad remarried and his mom lives alone. i am not sure if she ever appeared in public before. i have not seen a pic of her but i think she is still living.

The dad seems kewl....I dunno I am happy that he is married with a baby boy.....but he was my childhood crush.....so its a little wierd..I think i had a crush on him for a long time.....Now its time to move on I guess but I will still love him thought(fan and actor/singer/racer) Maybe in the next life I will be either related to him or date him lol
