sliding down the hill

this is fun, we will make a big one out of raupo leaves when we go home next week its gonna go real fast :D and we will pick a bigger hill, the name of these hills is maunga kohatu

There was a grassy hill near my house when I was a boy. In the summer the sun would dry the grass, it would flatten and we'd ride down it on sheets of cardboard.

In the winter it was covered with snow and we rode our sleds.

Thank you for bringing these memories back for me :)
