He says that they aren't really Oasis type songs. They wouldn't fit into and Oasis arrangement well he says.
He always say that when he is asked about a solo album though...and then later when he is asked he says that he only ever says it to wind up Liam. lol
So I wouldn't hold me breath for a Noel solo record.

Americans, and Canadians too, are just too tight-assed. And the censors are ridiculously so. Can you imagine how restrained Noel has to be for these interviews? He can't really be himself. Brits in the business just let go and their sense of humor is brilliant. Same reason they put out such great TV sitcoms. They are actually funny. Think the Americans go do Monty Python? Not likely.
